When the Centori ships invaded almost a century ago, they burned a hole through the atmosphere. Ecosystems died, biomes unraveled, species were eradicated, and glaciers flooded entire countries. Great cities were lost beneath the waves, and homes were abandoned beneath the rubble. The last remnant of humanity flocked to the only chain of is Turfs left – the Bastion.
There, they made their final stand. Banding together, the desperate human factions pushed back the invaders. They fought on the streets and built compounds underground to hold back the relentless waves. After months of fighting, the tide finally receded.
